Meet Our Team
Latisha: Office Manager
I began working with Dr. Major in December of 1991. I had just gotten married to my husband Greg and moved here from Helen, Georgia. Knowing very little about dentistry, I quickly began attending all the continuing education courses I could while also completing my college degree in business administration. I knew right away that this was going to be a career for me. Throughout the years I have loved working with such talented, compassionate professionals who are like family to me. Along with our state-of-the-art equipment, advanced training and techniques, it is our team’s passion to provide patient care and comfort that creates the atmosphere our patients enjoy. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and watching my son Will play baseball.
Brenda: Business Manager
I have a B.S. degree in special education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. When I retired as an Early Intervention Specialist, I came to Chattanooga Dental Care to “help out.” That was 15 years ago and I’m still here. I’ve learned so much since then, and it is such a pleasure to work with such fine doctors and this wonderful team of professionals. In my spare time I enjoy painting, sewing, family, friends, and my wonderful grandson, Jack.
Kimberly: Hygiene Coordinator
My name is Kimberly, Kim to old friends, Bunkin to my husband, Aunt Kim or TaTa to my nephews, and GaGa to my great nephew. My family and friends are my heart and life. I am an energetic, enthusiastic morning person who is passionate about our patients. I have been part of the team at Chattanooga Dental Care for 10 years.
Patsy: Scheduling Coordinator
I have been in dentistry for 35 years and I really enjoy what I do. I originally worked as a dental assistant but have been the scheduling coordinator since I came to work at Chattanooga Dental Care 15 years ago. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 9 grandchildren.
Twenty-eight years ago I moved to Chattanooga from Cranburg, NJ. My passions in life are being a wife, mother and a full-time dental hygienist at Chattanooga Dental Care where I have worked for 18 years. I owe a lot to Dr. Major in that he has advanced my knowledge and expertise through extensive training over the years. I feel happy and blessed to come and work with such wonderful doctors, team members, and patients. It is a pleasure to be a part of this wonderful team.
I have been in dentistry for 24 years and have worked with Dr. Major as a dental hygienist for 16 years. I really enjoy working with our patients and awesome team. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I have had the pleasure of working at Chattanooga Dental Care for a little over 3 years. I received my dental hygiene degree at ETSU. I enjoy my position here because I have the opportunity of meeting new people every day. My goal as a dental hygienist is to provide the highest quality dental care by accurately assessing the needs of my patients and educating them on their treatment options. I have been married over 30 years and have one wonderful grown daughter.
I have been a dental hygienist since 1997. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families so that our relationship will help me help them achieve and maintain a healthy smile.
Jeannie: Dental Assistant
I’ve worked for Dr. Major for 20 years and have been a dental assistant for 35 years. For those trying to figure my age, know that I was a dental prodigy. I’ve been married to my husband, Todd, for 31 years. We were blessed with a perfect son, Joe, nearly 16 years ago. We have the most expressive dog Hank…Henry when he is behaving.
Patty: Dental Assistant
I have been a part of the Chattanooga Dental Care team as a dental assistant since 2002. I enjoy working the best team members in Chattanooga. Over the years I have come to feel like our patients are part of our family, and I love getting to know them and making them feel comfortable about maintaining their dental health.
Michele: Dental Assistant
I have been a dental assistant for over 26 years. I have had the pleasure of assisting Dr. Major for the past three years of my career. It is exciting to be a team member in a practice that is focused on continued education for both the staff and our patients. Educating our patients and helping them improve their dental health has been personally rewarding to me. Outside the office I enjoy traveling, golfing, bicycling, gardening, and spending time with my family and friends.
Peyton: Dental Assistant
I graduated from the dental assisting program at Chattanooga State the summer of 2014, so I am new to Chattanooga Dental Care. In my free time I love doing things outdoors and hanging out with my family and friends.
